We all know that military service is one of America’s most gratifying challenges. In Burlington County we have grown up with valued associations with our Army and Air Force neighbors at Ft. Dix and McGuire and their support personnel in and out of uniform. We know how unsettling it is when our military is transferred, not just for the individual, but for every member of the family.
What is more stressful than relocation?
For me, I experienced it no less than 14 times from as far away as Hawaii when my children were small.
Burlington is the largest County in New Jersey. It stretches from the Delaware River on the West 60 miles East almost to the Atlantic Ocean. With such far ranging diversity, you will want to consider affordable Burlington County for yourself and your family.
Whether it is a single family residence or a lovely townhouse community, this is the move where your re-lo can also be an unexpected investment windfall. All things considered, this is a phenomenal place to wind up your military career.
I would be privileged to tell you what you’ll appreciate about Burlington County and how convenient we are to your base.
When you are ready to move, I would be proud to serve.
VA Mortgage
When purchasing your next home why not take advantage of your VA Loan benefits inside your VA Benefits package. Many Veterans are unaware of whether they qualify or not but you are qualified if:
- Served active duty in the Armed Forces after World War II and were discharged under terms other than dishonorable are eligible for VA home loan benefits.
- During war time periods, and active duty service, you must have, at the minimum, 90 days of service on their records.
- During peacetime periods, the active service requirement is 180 days. This is true for active duty military personnel, as well.
- Enlisted service veterans who served after 1980 and officers who served after 1981 must have completed 2 years of service to be eligible. - Selected Reserve and National Guard members are also eligible if they have served 6 years of service and were honorably discharged.
Why use a VA Loan to purchase your home?
The VA Loan allows you to purchase a home without a down payment. Most other loans require at least 20% down but with a VA Loan there is $0 down. The VA Loan also eliminates a need for Private Mortgage Insurance. They also typically come with lower interest rates than conventional loans. So why not a VA Loan, when you add up all of these extra benefits it can save you a couple hundred dollars a month and thousands over the life of the loan.
